Signing a business agreement to revitalize the digital twin platform
Hancom Intelligence (CEO Ji Chang-gun), a consolidated subsidiary of Hancom MDS, is collecting big data to activate digital twin with LX Korea Land Information Corporation (President Kim Jung-ryul).
Hancom Intelligence and LX Corporation signed a business agreement to spread the “Urban Problem Solving Digital Twin Platform” service in the conference room on the 7th floor of LX headquarters (Deokjin-gu, Jeonju) on the 12th. Through this agreement, Hancom Intelligence will support IoT (Internet of Things) management platform ‘NeoIDM’ to collect IoT-based indoor and outdoor data and link LX digital twin platforms.
LX Corporation will build a digital twin platform based on data sharing to enable digital twin services by utilizing data collected through Hancom Intelligence’s NeoIDEM.
Hancom Intelligence had previously responded preemptively to the spread of Covid-19 by checking whether visitors were heated or not in real time and identifying their movements by linking the face recognition fever detection system Hi.DAL to the digital twin of LX Corporation. In addition, Hi.CAPS utilize air pollutant detection sensors to enable real-time monitoring and control. It has been pushing for innovation in digital twin services by utilizing Hancom Intelligence’s IoT-based data acquisition and convergence technology and LX Corporation’s digital twin. LX Corporation is leading the domestic digital twin field by establishing a digital twin model for the first time in Jeonju City and providing eight digital twin services to solve problems in various cities such as environment and safety last year.
Choi Song-wook, head of LX Corporation’s spatial information division, said, “We will make efforts to create results of the Korean version of the New Deal through the spread of digital twin nationwide and to help people enjoy safer and more convenient digital twin services.”
Ji Chang-gun, CEO of Hancom Intelligence, addressed, “Through this agreement, we will push for various data collection and application based on IoT to digital twin services and upgrade digital twin services.”
Hancom Intelligence is providing artificial intelligence data collection processing solutions and data science platforms that were developed based on elementary technologies such as voice recognition and machine translation. Recently, AI EXPO 2021 attracted attention by introducing its own artificial intelligence service platform called NARU AI and intelligent Internet of Things (AIoT)-based smart store service, Hi.Store
